Play Nicely were approached by Total Immersion and global agency Blast Radius to deliver a fast-burn online campaign for Nivea using Flash-based AR technology.
Users can hold a Nivea product up to their webcam to see an exclusive AR video of Rihanna performing her hit single California King Bed in the intimacy of their office or home.
As well as tracking the Nivea packaging as users move it around on their screen, elements from the video, e.g., petals and feathers, float across in 3D space, further blurring the boundary between the pre-recorded video content and the user’s own video stream.
